Centre for Communication Governance

Designing the visual language of an Indian research center's public communication.

The Centre for Communication Governance at National Law University, Delhi (CCG at NLUD) is a research centre established to ensure that the Indian legal education establishment engages more meaningfully with communication law and policy, and offers academic contribution to communication policy making. Their aim is to eliminate the dearth of material and ability required to help law and policy stay abreast of technological advancement.
A major part of their output is reports on India’s movement in the areas of Internet governance and grant proposals that talk about the centre’s work and ability. I was approached by the CCG in 2014 to design two publications: a grant proposal for a research project and a report on the Indian team at the the International Telecommunication Union Plenipotentiary. I used this opportunity to help them create a visual language for their publications based on a dominant colour code that could be easily adapted.
