Lisa Beauty Parlour, is a student film made by, my friend and talented filmmaker, Shishir Jha as his classroom project. The film revolves around three main characters with stories that are entangled with each other. A desperate call girl pursuing normalcy, her greedy boyfriend with sinister plans and a lovestruck boy infatuated by the prostitute.
So when Shishir asked me to design the publicity for his film, I thought of creating the visual language around these characters. I thought of highlighting the distinctness of the three dominant emotions using colour codes to create unique visuals for the film.
